Product Introduction
The Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) system is an active microwave imaging remote sensing system. Compared with optical systems, it operates all-weather and day/night, overcoming the limitations of photoelectric payloads in data acquisition time windows. The MiniSAR (Miniaturized Synthetic Aperture Radar) captures high-resolution radar images of targets across different frequency bands, polarizations, and incidence angles, with the capability to penetrate clouds and fog.
MiniSAR is a lightweight, compact airborne SAR payload featuring plug-and-play integration with multi-rotor, VTOL fixed-wing UAVs, and manned aircraft. Equipped with onboard computing and communication links, it generates real-time images and transmits them synchronously to ground systems—delivering a scalable, plug-and-play SAR imaging solution.
With the advancement of UAV applications, demand has grown for miniaturized, cost-effective, high-resolution imaging radar compatible with UAVs. MiniSAR systems continue to reduce in weight, size, and power consumption, significantly promoting their integration with UAV platforms and accelerating the development of lightweight UAV-borne SAR systems.
SmartSat possesses R&D, manufacturing, and mass-production capabilities for lightweight UAV-borne MiniSAR systems. Its third-generation real-time imaging, multi-polarization MiniSAR achieves a resolution finer than 0.1 meters, placing it at the international forefront.
